After spending a week in beta, Dishonored 2's long-awaited Game Update 2 is now finally available. It brings with it numerous bug fixes and performance optimizations, and more importantly, the ability to customize your difficulty settings!
By messing around with a variety of sliders you can adjust things such as the effectiveness of cover, how quickly sleep darts take effect, how many active enemies will engage you at the same time, and other such things. And for those among you that love to push themselves to the very limit, there is also a brand new Iron Mode difficulty setting where you don't get to manually save, and where even a single death will lead you to a game over!
Finally, If you're interested in all of the details and bug fixes you can find the official patch notes on the Bethesda website, but if you're just looking for the short version you'll find all of the noteworthy PC and PS4 fixes down below. Here's the list:

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is set to arrive this April 4th for both the PC and consoles, but if you would like to give it a spin beforehand you'll be glad to hear that CI Games have announced an open beta. The beta will start on February 3rd, and in order to get in all you'll need to do is sign up on the official website - its that simple!
As far as the content is concerned, the open beta will bring with it two missions to toy around with. In Cut Off you'll need to employ all of your sneaky tactics in order to infiltrate a well guarded compound, while in Blockout you will need to dispose of an equally well-guarded war criminal, ideally from range. While its obvious what sort of playstyle the game recommends you take its still going to be up to you to decide how to tackle each mission, whether that be through stealth or through enough explosions to level a small mountain.

It is set to arrive this January 30th in honor of the 30th anniversary of the original Double Dragon, and while that on its own isn't strange, what might come as a slight surprise is that Double Dragon 4 will feature 2D retro visuals and gameplay heavily inspired by the original.

Starcraft 2's upcoming patch will add TotalBiscuit as a custom Announcer
- By Ash
- in News
To say that TotalBiscuit has simply been involved in Starcraft 2 would be one hell of an understatement. He not only spent a lot of time casting official matches, but he actually went the extra mile by creating his own competitive team and even funding a couple of tournaments. All of that eventually came to an end, but his impact on Starcraft 2 has been anything but minor.
So if you ever wanted TotalBiscuit to 'cast' your matches, you'll be glad to hear that Blizzard has just announced that the Cynical Brit will be joining Starcraft 2 as a custom announcer in the next patch! You can find a bunch of preview clips by heading over to the official website, but if you're familiar with TotalBiscuit's style of humor you should already know what you're getting into.
Free-to-play ARPG Marvel Heroes has recently received its "biggest update ever"

If you belong to the fairly niche group that loves both superheroes and ARPGs/Diablo clones, you might want to check out Marvel Heroes. According to the developers it has just recently received its "biggest update ever", and judging purely by the gigantic size of the patch notes I have very little reason to doubt their claims.
Every single hero has received numerous balance changes, the old way of leveling has been replaced with a new and more streamlined version, and the end-game progression system has been reworked in order to ensure that "the themes are stronger, the benefits are better." All of this is just the tip of the iceberg, however, so if you have a couple of hours to spare you will find the official patch notes by heading over here.
You can try out Halo Wars 2's Blitz game mode for free until January 30th
- By Ash

Its not often that you get to see an RTS designed for both console and PC, mostly because its incredibly difficult to make a control scheme that works for both parties. As such, I wouldn't really look down upon you if you were skeptical about Halo Wars 2 being as good as its advertising would like you to believe.
However, with the recently opened "Blitz Beta" Microsoft has now given everyone a chance to try it out for themselves, and to see through pure gameplay what Halo Wars 2 has to offer. Do keep in mind that the beta only features the newly created Blitz mode, which lies somewhere between an RTS and collectible card game, but it should still give you a good idea of the general gameplay and its controls.
