All of Gwent's card kegs will offer you a choice of guaranteed premium (animated) cards until Monday

- in News
If you were looking to expand your Gwent collection, now would be a very good time to do so as all card kegs opened until Monday (April 23rd, 12 PM CEST) will have a guaranteed premium (animated) card. More importantly, the premium card will occupy the 5th slot in the keg, meaning you will be able to choose which one out of three premium cards you'll add to your collection.
It is also worth mentioning that this promotion isn't exclusive to paid card kegs. As such, if you have a whole bunch of ore laying around, you can now convert it into highly valuable and rather fancy premium cards. Not a bad deal, not a bad deal at all!
Hearthstone's game director Ben Brode has left Blizzard in order to start his own company

After 15 years at Blizzard and almost 10 years of working on Hearthstone, Ben Brode has now left now left the company. Thankfully, this was not due to any sort of internal disagreement or problems with management, but rather because Brode is eager to start his own company and work on a brand new project from the ground up.
"I am very fortunate to be able to take a crazy risk right now in my life, and I’m excited to be scrappy and a little scared. I’m going to help start a new company," reads the rather heartfelt announcement. "We’ll probably make games, but we haven’t figured anything else out, yet. I’m looking forward to designing, programming, and actually creating things again. I’m going to miss the on-campus Starbucks, though. Dang."

If you have some free time and you're up for trying out something a bit different, you might be interested to hear that the cyberpunk strategy game Satellite Reign is free on Humble Bundle. This promotion will only last for another 28 hours (as of time of writing), so make sure to hurry up and secure your copy before it goes away.
On the other hand, if you need a bit more information before pulling the trigger, allow me to share with you the launch trailer. It's a bit too fast-paced for my liking, but it should still give you a pretty good idea of what Satellite Reign is all about. Have a gander:
Overwatch PTR update has reworked Hanzo and the Horizon Lunar Colony map, and added Rialto as a new escort map
- By Ash
- in News
After being teased for quite a while now, the much-needed Hanzo rework has finally made its way to the Overwatch test servers. As expected, the always-annoying Scatter Arrow has been replaced with a brand new rapid fire ability, while Hanzo's lacking mobility options have been enhanced by the addition of a new Lunge skill. If these changes go through you can expect Hanzo to be much more powerful, albeit much more skill intensive as well.
Besides the Hanzo rework, this PTR update has also brought in a reworked version of the Horizon Lunar Colony, one of the most offense-sided maps in the entire game. These changes have been put onto the PTR by accident and are still nowhere near finished, but even so I have to admit they are still pretty darn exciting to see! The Elder Scrolls Online's latest preview shows off the High Elf homeland of Summerset

The Elder Scrolls Online's upcoming expansion will be shifting the action to Summerset, the fabled home of the High Elves and an area that has not made an appearance since the very first Elder Scrolls game. You can expect to see a variety of new and mysterious zones to explore, a new "Psijic Order" that will help you unlock a whole set of new spells, the ability to craft jewelry with powerful effects, and naturally, a whole bunch of public dungeons, delves, bosses, and group-based challenges.
If you're wondering how all of this translates into gameplay, as well as what Summerset even looks like, allow me to share with you two of the most recent trailers. The first and newly released video is mostly about the visuals and the journey to Summerset, while the second one is your standard gameplay trailer. Have a look:
The Surge update has added six new mini-bosses that drop brand new weapons and armor
- By Ash

I must admit, I'm starting to get some very high hopes for The Surge 2. Not only has the developer Deck13 demonstrated that they are willing to improve upon the level design in nearly every way through the recent A Walk in the Park DLC, but also that they're willing to go the distance with their games given that The Surge has just received a rather exciting content update!
The appropriately titled "The Cutting Edge Pack" brings with it three unique weapons to play around with, as well as three new armor sets that offer a variety of useful bonuses. Perhaps most interestingly of all, in order to get these new items you will have to find and clobber six new mini-bosses in the Abandoned Production, Management and Core zones. According to the announcement they won't go down easily, so make sure to prepare for a proper fight.
Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration has now made its way to Linux as well

The macOS version of Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration arrived a couple of days ago, and after a short delay the Linux version has now followed suit as well. Since the name itself isn't exactly descriptive, it is worth mentioning that the 20 Year Celebration edition brings with it the full Rise of the Tomb Raider game and all of the DLC.
As far as the port itself is concerned, both the macOS and Linux versions have not been made by the original developers, but rather by Feral Interactive. If the name doesn't ring any bells, you might know them from their work on the ports of Tomb Raider, Total War: Warhammer 1 and 2, XCOM 2, Dawn of War 3, and the list goes on. From what I can tell there have been very few complaints about the macOS version, so chances are the Linux port will be a decent one as well.
