The action-stealth game Aragami released on PC and consoles in October of 2016 to some rather favorable reviews. Not much has been heard about it since then, but I am glad to say that all of that will soon change as Aragami is getting a major expansion this May 15th - Nightfall.

The Nightfall campaign will take place before the events of Aragami, and will provide a variety of new and complex challenges to overcome. In order to help you deal with the increased difficulty you will also have access to 3 new and highly versatile Shadow Techniques, as well as the ability to play the whole campaign with a friend in cross-platform online multiplayer.

Total War: Warhammer 2's next DLC appears to have been leaked - The Queen and The Crone

Creative Assembly has been announcing brand new additions to Total War: Warhammer 2 for quite a few weeks now, so it shouldn't come as much of a surprise to hear that something big is brewing. As discovered by maark91 over at Reddit, the Total War: Warhammer 2 IMDb page has been updated to show that Joel Gorf is voicing a Shadow Walker in a currently announced "The Queen and The Crone" DLC.

While no actual confirmation has been given just yet, this seems to be a pretty darn credible 'rumor'. After all, there are still plenty of High Elf and Dark Elf units and lords to draw from, and what better characters to pick than Alarielle the last Everqueen and her counterpart Crone Hellebron, one of the most ancient and powerful Hag Queens.

Quake Champions devs are working on a greatly improved and completely over-the-top gore system

Quake Champions is already a fairly gory game, what with the enemies exploding into a shower of giblets when killed, but according to id Software it is apparently not gory enough. As such, you can expect to see a brand new and heavily improved gore system coming in the near future.

The details are still few and far between, but as you'll see in the preview video, the new system will individually model the tiniest pieces of each champion. The end result, as you might imagine, will make some truly spectacular killing blows. It's completely over-the-top and not realistic in even the loosest definition of the term, but it sure looks like a bit of fun. After all, what's the point of dominating your enemies if you can't also send their assorted giblets straight into the Moon!

City of Brass, an Arabian Nights themed first-person rogue-lite, has now released on Steam

City of Brass is a newly released first-person rogue-lite that will have you hack and slash your way through a variety of Arabian Nights themed locales. As such, expect to see richly decorated and colorful cities, forgotten and sand-covered ruins, as well as a whole host of mythological creatures ranging from genies to boring ol' skeletons.

Since trying to explain action games through words alone is a bit of a pointless task, allow me to share with you the recently posted launch trailer. It should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect from City of Brass, both in terms of visuals and gameplay. Oh, and there's even a cameo from Nvidia's Shadowplay in there! Have a gander:

Cities: Skyline's Parklife DLC will let you construct your own amusement parks, zoos and reserves

Cities: Skyline - Parklife screenshot of the new amusement park from up close

Cities: Skylines' upcoming expansion Parklife is taking things in a bit of a different direction. Instead of giving you a whole bunch of new buildings and transport systems to toy around with, Parklife is all about making your city much more lively through the addition of amusement parks, nature reserves, zoos, city parks, gardens, and the list goes on. A seemingly minor addition in the grand scheme of things, but one that I'm actually quite excited about since trying to make sprawling cityscapes isn't exactly the easiest of things.

The Parklife expansion is set to arrive this May 24th at a €15 price tag, though with a 10% discount for anyone that decides to pre-purchase. Whether all of this is worth your time and money, that's something only you can decide, but I can at least give you a hand by sharing the current list of features. Here's what you can expect to see:

Vampyr is an upcoming vampire themed RPG from Dontnod, the studio behind the wildly popular Life is Strange. It's set to arrive this June 5th, bringing with it a story focused around a noble doctor that's trying to prevent a deadly plague from sweeping through London, a doctor that's also wrestling with a vampiric curse that forces him to feed on those he's trying so desperately to save.

While in-game you will have plenty of ways to choose your own destiny, the latest preview video shows off what happens when the good doctor fully embraces his bloodthirsty nature. So if you're up for seeing what Vampyr looks like in action, as well as get a couple of hints about the overall story, you'll find the video right below. Have a gander:

Battletech devs have announced their plans for future content, bug fixes, and general improvements

Battletech launched on April 24th alongside some highly favorable reviews, though unfortunately with a whole bunch of bugs and issues as well. With that in mind, you'll be glad to hear that Harebrained Schemes have now announced their plans for future content and updates, a good portion of which is dedicated to various bug fixes.

The first thing on the list are solutions for critical problems, mostly for the crashes that come as a result of hardware/system compatibility issues. There is currently no release date set for these fixes, but Harebrained Schemes have said that they will be put onto the test servers as soon as they are available. As far as general bug fixes and improvements are concerned, there will be a major update later this month with a whole bunch of unannounced changes.
