New Guild Wars 2 Legendary Weapons Have Been Canceled - Developers To Focus On New Living Story Content
- By Ash

Before Heart of Thorns released ArenaNet was proudly announcing all of the new features, such as: a new set of legendary gear and weapons, a complete fractal rework and new fractals, a renewed focus on WvW, raids, and the third season of the living story which is to come soon after launch.
Six months later and the only quality, long-lasting content we've received are the raids, so I think you can understand why the community is going just sliiiighly bananas about AreanaNet's announcement that they have stopped developing the legendary weapons they sold the expansion with. Here's the message from ArenaNet's president, Mike O Brien:
Samorost 3 Is The Latest Game From The Devs Behind Machinarium, And Its Absolutely Lovely

I found myself turned off from puzzle-adventures ever since Myst wracked my brain with puzzles designed to be as obtuse and confusing as possible, usually because they ran on moon-logic understood only to the Kobolds of Ghorblak 5.
However, after playing Samorost 3 for a couple of hours I could feel that childlike wonder and glee return to me in full force as I explored strange new worlds inhabited by space turtles, singing lizards and flying mangoes. While I'm not yet ready to do a full review, I want to bring Samorost 3 to your attention, starting with its trailer:
The Atari Vault Has Been Unsealed - Here's What Lies Within

The aim of the Atari Vault is to enable fans to relive classic games in the modern age, with upgraded user interfaces, online and local multiplayer, Steam Controller and classic trackball support, leaderboards, and a couple of other nifty features for retro-gamers to enjoy.
The Vault was announced back in January, but Atari never specified when exactly it would be releasing, or what it would contain. A poor strategy as it turns out because the Atari Vault has released two days ago, and only now are people catching on to that fact. Here's a list of all the games included in the Atari Vault:
New Total War: Warhammer Gameplay Showcases A Vampire Siege And Some Actually Decent AI

The two main issues with the majority of Total War games were always launch bugs and terrible AI that is more than willing to throw away any advantage it might have in favor of charging down enemies.
Thankfully, the recently released Vampire Counts vs The Empire siege battle showcases a much more intricate AI that is capable of falling back, attacking on multiple fronts, and for once, not losing. Also, plenty of skeletons and skeleton based monstrosities. Have a look, its an exciting video:
Two Worlds 3 Has Been Announced - Two Worlds 2 Is Getting An Engine Rework And Two DLCs

Two Worlds 2 might genuinely be one of my top contenders for the very prestigious "bad game I couldn't stop playing" award. Its buggy, its imbalanced, its story is stupid, yet somehow I found myself playing through it not once, but twice in its entirety.
It would appear I'm not the only one, however, as the developers have just announced that they are working on both Two Worlds 3, and an engine rework for Two Worlds 2 along with two pieces of DLC that will pave the way for the grand sequel.

- in News
In a move that should surprise absolutely no one that has managed to lay eyes on the recent Dark Souls 3 footage, From Software has increased the recommended PC system requirements.
The minimum system specs which once required an i3 CPU & GTX 465 GPU combo have now been upscaled to an i5 & GTX 750 TI, while the recommended settings only did a "little hop" from an i7 & GTX 750 combo to an i7 & GTX 970 setup. Here's how the system requirements stand right now:

Its quite impressive, and somewhat ironic, how Blizzard's least serious game is being the most serious about fostering a vibrant and long lasting competitive scene through multiple major tournaments, one of which is coming up really soon.
In a recent blog post the Heroes of the Storm team announced that the Summer Season will begin on April 14th with a massive $1,2 million USD up for grabs during the entire event.
