Battlefleet Gothic: Armada will be docking in to Steam's space-port on April 21st, and after extensively playing the beta by crushing everything in Khorne's bloody name, I can only utter this simple phrase: I can't wait!
In order to celebrate this announcement the developers will be adding Orks to the beta in the near future, but until then here's a trailer full of battle-hungry Orks doing their best attempt at "singing":
SOMA Has Almost Become Profitable - Frictional Is Working On Two New Games

[Update]: Frictional Games have now begun teasing their next game, though the exact details are still few and far between.
Its not often that developers decide to share their thoughts and statistics after a game's release, but when they do the resulting article is always a fascinating read.
The same applies to Frictional and their latest Sci-Fi horror, SOMA, which is currently well on its way towards becoming profitable, yet not quite the smash hit Frictional expected after the success of Amnesia: The Dark Descent. You can read the full post on the Frictional blog, but if you're just looking for a short summary, here it is:

The PC system requirements for Quantum Break were released a month ago, and with the minimum being set at a rather pricey combo of i5 CPU & Nvidia GTX 760 GPU many were curious about how extensively they could customize the graphical settings in order to find that perfect ratio between performance and prettiness.

Here are the images Remedy sent out today, just slightly darkened by me so you can actually see something:

While its an outstanding idea for Origin to offer free games in order to entice people to join their service, I'm still puzzled on why they haven't worked on expanding their mostly EA-centric catalog so that they can be an actual competitor to Steam, and not just "that" place you have to go to for your Battlefield fix.
Either way, Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault is currently "on the house", and as far as memory serves, its a rather good game. Here's the trailer and a reminder of how far graphics have come the past decade:

A mere three weeks after Update 4, the Prison Architect developers are back again with a brand new patch, this one quite possibly being the most important update to date as it brings significant performance improvements to a game that could chug like a choo-choo train when you start building big.
Aside from performance increases, Update 5 also expands upon the recently implemented heating system through the addition of hot-water pipes and boilers, as well as the super-secret 3D mode. Here's the developer video, and if you're not up for some banter feel free to just skip to around 8 minutes:
