If you ever needed a showcase of how impressive the things created in Unreal Engine 4 can really be, two examples have appeared recently, one for Bloodborne's Hunter's Dream, and one for Silent Hill's elementary school scene.
Let's begin with my personal favorite, the surprisingly accurate recreation of the Hunter's Dream from Bloodborne by EA DICE's Simon Barle. Feast your eyes on the video below:
Windows 10 UWP Now Supports Freesync and G-Sync, Framerate has been Unlocked

Windows 10 launched with lofty plans of conquering the PC ecosystem with its brand new and "immensely effective" UWP system that was supposed to make games and applications not just more convenient, but also safer.
Unfortunately, almost every Windows 10 game launched in a rather dismal state, and required at least two weeks of patching before things got in working order, but Microsoft is now taking steps towards remedying some of these constantly appearing issues. An update that should be arriving in a couple of hours will bring with it support for Freesync and G-Sync, but most importantly, unlocked framerate for UWP games and apps.
Edmund McMillen Is Looking For Community Suggestions Regarding Afterbirth+ Challenges
- By Ash
- in News
After already gathering a whole bunch of community ideas and concepts for new items, Edmund McMillen is back once more, this time around with challenges on the table.
As you might expect, he's looking for setups that are new, actually challenging, and most importantly, completely out of this world in terms of design. Afterbirth+ will most likely feature around 5 challenges, and if the community manages to pull through and come up with some unique concepts, there could be 1-3 of them present in the final release.
Starcraft 2's Patch 3.3 Is Bringing New Co-op Content, Mutators, And Weekly Challenges

For those of you that haven't played Starcraft 2 in a while, Legacy of the Void brought with it one of the best features Starcraft 2 ever witnessed - challenging co-op missions.
As you might imagine, however, after numerous playthroughs even the most challenging of content tends to become somewhat samey, and worst of all when it comes to having a jolly good time, laughably easy. Thankfully, the upcoming Patch 3.3 is attempting to remedy exactly that issue by providing mutators, a new way to spice up your gameplay. Here's the developer video showcasing some of these mutators in action:
GTA Online Is Getting "Massive, Feature-Rich" Content Updates In The Near Future

I'll be the first one to say that GTA Online has been a massive disappointment as the dev team seems to have mistaken the word "grind" with "fun", but over time and through numerous updates it has finally become something that at least resembles what I wanted to see out of a multiplayer GTA V experience.
Things are set to become even better in the near future as Rockstar has just announced their plans for a couple of "massive, feature-rich" content updates, along with numerous weekly events that will be raining down bonus RP and GTA$ onto the cash-starved masses. Here's a brief overview of what to expect:

After being leaked not once, not even twice, but three times now, the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster has finally been officially confirmed for PC and Steam.
And in standard Square Enix fashion its being released in only a couple of days time, May 12 to be specific, without even a single bit of marketing, or even a tweet to let the world know of its existence. With that mini-rant aside, here's one of the recent trailers showcasing all of the graphical improvements and fancy new features that come with the remastered version:
Battleborn Gameplay Showcase - Starring ISIC And The Incursion Game Mode

Battleborn is a MOBA/FPS hybrid from the creators of Borderlands. As such it features the same sort of gunplay and fast-paced movement, though with the addition of numerous active abilities, a wide range of unique characters, and naturally, enemy minions to slay.
This gameplay video will focus on the 'main' PvP mode - Incursion - where you are required to push into the enemy base and destroy their Sentry, in other words the main building in any MOBA game. Along the way you will be joined by ISIC, the 'totally not evil' robot that's bent on world domination, loves spouting terrible jokes, and carries a gigantic plasma cannon which is far deadlier than what the other players give it credit for.
