Bulletstorm is getting a remastered version with improved graphics, framerate, and sound

Bulletstorm, the incredibly mature shooter that's all about hitting people in the groin and then chucking them onto a cactus, is apparently getting a new and improved version. The rather tamely named Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition will bring with it hi-res textures, increased polygon counts, better audio, and most importantly, a much smoother frame rate - even on 4K resolutions!

If you're wondering what this might look like, Gearbox released a rather terrible trailer showcasing the visual and audio improvements. The fancy new graphics are all there, but the trailer has almost none of the personality and ridiculously over the top violence Bullestorm is famous for, so do bear that in mind before you dive in. Disclaimers aside, here's the video:

Ever since Day of the Tentacle Remastered was announced many were expecting to see Full Throttle get the same treatment, and as it so happens, a remastered version is currently in production! It is bringing with it brand new hand-drawn artwork, high resolution animations and backgrounds, as well as higher quality music to make all those hours spent on the road much more enjoyable.

If you're wondering what all of this might look like, here's the recently posted 'First Look' trailer showcasing just that. As for the actual gameplay, I'm afraid you're going to have to wait for a little while longer before you get to see it as Full Throttle Remastered is still under heavy development. Anyway, here's the video:

Star Wars: The Old Republic's Knights of the Eternal Throne expansion is now live

Star Wars: The Old Republic's Knights of the Eternal Throne official artwork

If you're a fan of the previous Star Wars: The Old Republic expansion, Knights of the Fallen Empire, you'll be glad to hear that its followup is now live and available. The newly released Knights of the Eternal Throne brings with it new characters to fight alongside, a variety of (hopefully) interesting choices that will test your allegiance to the dark/light side of the force, as well as a brand new story campaign focusing on Vaylin -  the most dangerously unhinged member of Valkorion's family.

Since that last part might as well be utter gibberish to anyone that hasn't played Star Wars: The Old Republic in recent times, here's a brief cinematic short showing off Vaylin's rise to power, and some of the story themes present in the Knights of the Eternal Empire expansion. Even if you don't really care about the lore I would still recommend giving it a look, its a surprisingly well told story!

The World of Warcraft PTR has recently been updated with a new batch of class changes

World of Warcraft's Goblin delivering patch notes

A couple of weeks ago the World of Warcraft PTR has been updated with some highly experimental, and equally controversial changes. Since there are far too many balance changes to simply cover in a paragraph or two, let's just say that several classes suddenly found themselves completely neutered in not just damage output, but in terms of rotation as well. And given the World of Warcraft team's now legendary inability to actually communicate with their playerbase, these changes predictably resulted in a whole bunch of anger and confusion.

Thankfully, the PTR (Public Test Realm) has recently been updated with a brand new batch of changes, most of which are aimed at complementing the previous ones. You can read the full list over at MMO-Champion, because trying to get actual data from Blizzard is nigh impossible, but before you do just be aware that these changes are not yet numerically balanced... at all! As stated by WoW's Game Director himself, they are currently trying out some experimental mechanics changes to see if they work or not, so don't expect any of this to actually go through in their current state. Here's the full quote:

Total War: Warhammer's Wood Elves army

If you haven't been paying attention to Total War: Warhammer these past few weeks you may have missed the announcement for the latest DLC - Realm of the Wood Elves. As you can probably guess given the name, it brings with it the brand new Wood Elves faction along with new Legendary Lords, exclusive units, a mini story campaign, and all of the other features you have come to expect from a standalone faction.

And if you're wondering what these rather scrawny looking Elves might do in battle, Creative Assembly has also recently released a rather lengthy gameplay preview showcasing them in the thick of combat. Have a look:

The Settlers inspired city-building game Townsmen is now available on Steam

Townsmen screenshot from the PC version

If you're disappointed with the direction The Settlers series is going in, you might want to check out the recently released Townsmen as its quite similar in spirit to the classics. In the most basic terms it is a medieval city-building game where you need to manage a complex economy with deep production chains, construct a variety of buildings in order to further your economy, build up and feed an army to protect yourself from outside threats, and pretty much do most of the stuff you're used to from The Settlers series.

And if you're wondering why I'm constantly bringing up The Settlers comparison, one look at the most recent trailer should quickly clue you in. Have a look:

Titanfall 2's free multiplayer trial will be going live tomorrow, December 2nd

Titanfall 2's Angel City official artwork

If you've been itching to find out what Titanfall 2 is all about, but you didn't feel like dropping a rather sizable chunk of change to do so, I'm happy to announce that there is a free multiplayer trial incoming! Starting from tomorrow, December 2nd, players on all three platforms will be able to access every single aspect of Titanfall 2's multiplayer for a limited amount of time. And if you're wondering how long a "limited amount of time" is exactly, I'm afraid there is currently no specific answer, but its most likely going to be a couple of hours, at the very least.

So what exactly is Titanfall 2's multiplayer even like? Well, that's a rather difficult question to answer, but the recently posted trailer for the upcoming Angel City map should at the very least give you an idea of what sort of madness is possible. Have a look:
