Deus Ex: Breach and the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided VR Experience are now available for free on Steam

Deus Ex: Breach standalone version screenshot showing the player and two enemies

Deus Ex: Breach was originally released as a part of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided as a sort of "arcade" take on the standard gameplay, but with today's Steam release it has become a standalone free-to-play game. Unlike Mankind Divided, each mission in Breach is self-contained and brings with it simple objectives which range from retrieving a set amount of information to defeating a specific enemy. And if you want to brag to your friends you can always attempt to reach the high score on specific maps, or try your hand at some of the custom challenges.

If you're wondering what all of this might look like, allow me to share with you the fairly lengthy preview trailer. Its a bit outdated by this point, but it should still give you a good idea of what to expect from Deus Ex: Breach. Anyway, have a look:

Heroes of the Storm's Lunar Festival update has added a bunch of new cosmetics, as well as a rather fancy rooster mount

Heroes of the Storm's Lunar Festival Monkey King skin for Samuro

While Overwatch's Year of the Rooster update has added some new cosmetics, balance changes, and even a new game mode, Heroes of the Storm's update is a bit more humble. The Lunar Festival brings with a bunch of new and festive cosmetics, as well as a new daily event that you can complete for gold and eventually a rather fancy rooster mount. In other words its only cosmetics, but at the very least they appear to be of a high quality.

But perhaps the best part of this whole event is the brief trailer Blizzard released to showcase some of the skins and map decorations. And if you're wondering when exactly Heroes of the Storm added the Monkey King as a playable hero, the answer would be never, because its actually just Samuro in an elaborate monkey costume! With that lovely image now stuck in your head, here's the video:

Skullgirls Second Encore+ update has arrived with tons of balance changes, a lobby system, and tutorial improvements

You have to hand it to Lab Zero, even though Skullgirls released back in 2013 they have not stopped releasing content updates and balance changes. As you can probably guess from the title alone, today's Second Encore+ update is a combination of both. It has brought in a ton of balance changes to a variety of characters, further improvements to the tutorial and training mode, a new lobby system, as well as a whole bunch of other changes, additions, and bug fixes.

I would love to give you a summary, but the patch notes are so ridiculously large we would probably be stuck here until tomorrow night. So if you're interested in all of the details you can find the full, extremely detailed patch notes over at the official website. And if you're just looking for the balance changes you will find them near the bottom of the list.

Blizzard has posted an Overwatch Developer Update video discussing the new Capture the Flag mode

Overwatch Capture the Rooster game mode screenshot

Overwatch's Year of the Rooster update has arrived earlier today, bringing with it D.Va and Ana nerfs, a whole bunch of cosmetics, and perhaps most surprisingly, a new Capture the Flag game mode! Its only going to be here for the next three weeks, mostly because the current iteration is visibly flawed, but if there is enough interest Blizzard has said they would consider turning it into a proper competitive mode somewhere down the line.

In order to explain all of this, and also briefly cover Overwatch's history with the Capture the Flag game mode, Game Director Jeff Kaplan has released a Developer Update video discussing the new addition. So if you're interested in what Kaplan has to say you'll find the video down below. And for those of you that just want the short version, I'll also include my brief summary. Have a look:

Mei and snowball skin from Overwatch Year of the Rooster update

If you're becoming increasingly tired of seeing this triple/quad tank meta you'll be glad to hear that Overwatch's Year of the Rooster update has brought in the long awaited Ana and D.Va nerfs, as well as the Roadhog hook rework. And since this is a promotional event there is also a whole bunch of new cosmetics to collect, including two a-Mei-zing new skins! But most importantly of all, this update has brought with it an early version of the Capture the Flag game mode!

Since all of this might be a bit too much to absorb at once, allow me to share with you the recently posted teaser video. It features most of the cosmetics you'll get to collect over the next few weeks, as well as a few brief glimpses at the new CTF game mode. Have a look:

Tekken 7 has been delayed until June 2nd

Tekken 7's bear character Kuma

After witnessing Street Fighter 5's fairly lackluster launch I am glad to say that Bandai Namco is treating Tekken 7 with a bit more respect. What I mean by this is that Tekken 7 has just been delayed from its early 2017 launch until June 2nd, all in an effort to ensure as smooth of a release as possible.

And in order to lessen the blow a bit Bandai Namco has also released a brand new story trailer featuring a wide variety of people with ridiculous hairstyles constantly yelling at each other. So if you're interested in the story side of Tekken 7, have a look:

Pillars of Eternity: The Road To Eternity documentary cover art

Obsidian's The Road to Eternity is a documentary detailing the whole development process behind Pillars of Eternity, with all of the highs and lows that come with such a massive project. It has been available for a while to a certain portion of Kickstarter backers, but now that its on Youtube the rest of us finally have a chance to check it out as well!

So if you love Pillars of Eternity, or just enjoy peeking behind the scenes, you'll find the full documentary down below. Do bear in mind that its well over an hour in length, so don't expect to watch all of it during your toilet break, but its well worth the time investment as you don't often get to see what exactly goes into making a game. Anyway, here's the video:
