StarCraft Remastered will be coming this August at a $15 price tag

StarCraft Remastered official artwork and logo

StarCraft Remastered, as you would expect from the name alone, will be a complete overhaul of one of the most popular games of all time - StarCraft: Brood War. It will bring with it 4k graphics and support for modern resolutions, 1080p cinematics, proper keybinding support, as well as an improved online matchmaking and ladder system. Most importantly of all, however, StarCraft Remastered will not be changing any of original's gameplay elements, so things like Mutalisk stacking and derpy Dragoon AI will remain just as they are.

While the recently posted "We Are Under Attack!" trailer won't really give you any information about StarCraft Remastered, its such a bizarre yet intriguing video that I would highly recommend you give it a look anyway. Without further ado, here it is:

After a few weeks of teasers, rumors, and wild theories the Steam Summer Sale has now finally arrived, bringing with it a ridiculous amount of discounted games. However, while that is certainly a good thing, it is not exactly easy to choose only a couple of games when you have thousands upon thousands strewn before you.

In an effort to help out with this little 'problem', and also showcase some great games you might not have otherwise even looked at, I have devised a brief list consisting of five games you should consider grabbing on Day 9 of the 2017 Steam Summer Sale. Without further ado, let's begin:

For Honor's ranked play (Duel Tournaments) is currently undergoing public testing

Despite For Honor being designed from the ground up with competitive play in mind Ubisoft somehow neglected to add a proper ranked mode to it. That is thankfully going to change in the near future as Ubisoft is currently holding a public test for Duel Tournaments.

Once you join up you will first need to play 20 qualifier matches, after which you will be put into one of the leagues: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, or Diamond. Each league will then be further divided into five groups to ensure balanced matchmaking, and as you would expect, you'll need to climb from the very bottom to the very top of the league in order to advance to the next one. Its a fairly standard ranked system, but given that For Honor is essentially a fighting game I don't see much of a reason to reinvent the wheel.

World of Warcraft's Update 7.3 has launched on the PTR with an entire new planet to explore - Argus

World of Warcraft's Kil'Jaeden

Despite being hailed as "the biggest update World of Warcraft has ever seen" the Broken Shore and its surrounding content ended up being nothing more than a bunch of extremely easy quests to endlessly grind. Given the massive lack of polish many started speculating that the entire update was released as a simple diversion, a way to keep the playerbase interested while Blizzard finishes work on the 'real' update.

Whether that is true or not, I highly doubt we'll ever find out, but what I do know is that World of Warcraft's Update 7.3 is exactly what the Broken Shore should've been. It brings with it an entirely new planet to explore, new world quests and profession updates, more ways to customize our weapons, a new dungeon and raid, as well as Invasion Points which are a new type of replayable content that lets us invade Legion worlds in search of booty.

Less than a month has passed since the last major Titanfall 2 update, and already we have received a brand new one. The newly added War Games Update brings with it two new maps (a standard map called War Games and a Live Fire map called Traffic), a much-requested third weapon slot for Pilots, a new awesome-looking shadow-boxing execution, as well as the addition of Titan Brawl to the list of permanent game modes.

If you're wondering what the two new maps look like, and most importantly, what the new execution looks like, you'll find everything you seek in the recently posted launch trailer. Have a look:

Warframe's Chains of Harrow Update has arrived with a new support-orientated frame called Harrow

Harrow from Warframe's Chains of Harrow Update

After being briefly teased for around a week Warframe's Chains of Harrow Update has now finally made its way to the live servers. It brings with it a brand new support-orientated Warframe by the name of Harrow, a new story related quest to acquire its schematics, a remastered Earth tileset, a new Grineer enemy, a bunch of new and reworked weapons, and the list goes on.

On first glance you might think that Harrow is all about aggression given that he's constantly shrouded in red mist, but in reality he's all about empowering himself and his teammates. He's capable of pinning enemies to the floor while reinforcing his shields, and then sacrificing all of those shields in order to boost reload speed, fire rate, and lifesteal. He also has a bit of a weird spell called the Thurible which requires him to channel energy into a metal container, after which all nearby kills will grant allies bursts of energy, with headshots giving off much larger pulses of energy. This snyergises rather well with his ultimate that not only absorbs damage, but also converts that absorbed damage into a critical chance bonus from himself and his allies. In other words, if you're playing as Harrow you really want to aim for the head!
