The Little Witch Academia manga/show has quite a few enthusiastic fans, so much so that they have managed to partially fund a second movie on Kickstarter a few years ago. Given its popularity it really shouldn't come as a surprise to hear that Bandai Namco has just announced a tie-in RPG for PC and PS4.

Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time will be a 3D action-RPG with some beat 'em up elements mixed in for good measure, and while it will front-line the characters from the series it will be its own original story. As for what exactly the story will be, I'm afraid that's still being kept under wraps, but the basic premise is that you will need to "discover the seven wonders and solve the mysterious shift in time."

I would love to tell you more, especially about the gameplay since the screenshot above looks genuinely interesting, but I'm afraid this is all of the details Bandai Namco was willing to share so far. However, the release date for the Japanese version is set for November 30th, so chances are we'll be getting more information in the not-too-distant future. The release date for the western version has not yet been announced, but you can expect to see Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time in early 2018.
