Smite's next character will be none other than the Great Dreamer himself, Cthulhu

In a bit of an unexpected announcement, the god-based MOBA Smite will be adding the madness-inducing Cthulhu as its next character. This is a significant departure from the usual norm because while Smite is no stranger to gods among its roster, what with that being its entire shtick, this will be the first time they've added a more contemporary deity. So the big question is - could this mean that even more modern characters, including other elder gods, are in the running now?
Whatever the answer may be, Cthulhu's Smite incarnation will be capable of driving enemy gods insane, causing them to experience a variety of negative effects - including a brand new set of audio/visual hallucinations. Cthulhu will also be able to prey on the madness of the other gods, and should he manage to successfully break their minds, will even become permanently stronger.

Warcraft 3: Reforged is getting a major balance update in the near future

[Update]: Warcraft 3: Reforged devs have shared a preview of the upcoming Player Profiles.
While Warcraft 3: Reforged has been a bit of a disappointment, there is still hope for it. After all, the base gameplay is still the amazing Warcraft 3 action many of us fell in love with years ago, so as long as Blizzard doesn't give up on it, Warcraft 3 really does have a chance to shine once more.
With that in mind, I'm quite pleased to say Blizzard has now unleashed an absolutely massive balance patch onto the PTR. The experimental update brings with it changes to some of the least used heroes and ultimates, as well as offers a comprehensive rebalance of mercenary camps and the units they sell to the players.
Pilots of Darsalon is a Commodore 64 inspired and physics-based flying game

If you're in the mood for a bit of an oldschool experience, you might want to keep an eye on the upcoming Pilots of Darsalon. To put it simply, Pilots of Darsalon is a Commodore 64 inspired action game where the flying is heavily based on physics and momentum, quite similar in spirit to 1986's Thrust.
Since that last part has likely made things more confusing than anything else, allow me to also share with you the recently posted trailer. It'll hopefully clue you in quite nicely on what to expect:

If you loved Mortal Kombat 11's campaign and you're itching for even more over-the-top cheese, you might be glad to hear that the very first major expansion Aftermath has now arrived. It brings with it a new cinematic storyline focused around the Fire God Liu Kang, who as you might imagine, is attempting to save the world once more by pitting the various fighters against each other in a series of brutal duels.
To make things a little bit more interesting, Aftermath is also adding three new playable characters to mess around with - Sheeva, Fujin and the guest star Robocop. There will also be three new skin packs, though only the very first pack is available right now. On the positive side, the titular Eternal Klash skin pack does feature some rather nifty skins for Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Frost!
Sci-fi thriller Observation has now made its way to Steam alongside a 50% sale

Now that its Epic Games Store exclusivity has run out, the sci-fi thriller Observation has slowly drifted onto Steam as well. Best of all, it has done so alongside a 50% discount that will last until May 28th, bringing the price down to €10.
When it comes to the actual gameplay, in Observation you don't play as one of the characters adrift on the failing space station, but rather as the station's artificial intelligence S.A.M. Your role will be to operate the various systems, cameras and tools in order to assist Dr. Emma Fisher in figuring out what has happened to the station, the missing crew, and perhaps most importantly, yourself.

[Update #2]: Serious Sam 4 has now been delayed and will be launching in September, 2020
[Update]: Croteam has released a brand new Serious Sam 4 gameplay preview, and sadly it's a bit of a disappointing one.
If turning off your brain and simply mowing down enemies by the thousands sounds like a good bit of fun, you might be happy to hear that Serious Sam 4 will soon be upon us. Expect to see a variety of new and returning enemies, plenty of ridiculous weapons to paint the landscape with, the ability to play the entire campaign in 4-player co-op, and perhaps most importantly of all, the largest horde of monsters the series has seen to date.
As for how exactly any of this translates into gameplay, that you'll find out through two of the recently posted previews. Have a gander, there really is an impressive amount of enemies on display!
