Kazutaka Kodaka, the creative mind behind the bizarre yet enthralling Danganronpa series, has now released his brand new game onto PC - Death Come True. As you might imagine given his previous work, Death Come True is a bit of a strange game. Instead of your usual run-of-the-mill horror adventure, Death Come True is entirely made out of FMV (full motion video) sequences and plays like an interactive movie more than anything else.

If you're curious what this looks like in action, as well as how good the actual acting even is, you can find what you seek through one of the recent trailers. Have a little peek, and don't forget to turn on the subtitles!

[Update #2]: After two years in Early Access, Rogue Legacy 2 is set to be unleashed on April 28th, 2022.

[Update]: After a brief delay, Rogue Legacy 2 has now made its way to Steam Early Access!

Rogue Legacy 2 was originally supposed to launch into Steam Early Access this July 23rd, but alas, it has now been delayed until August 18th. The reason, as you might imagine, is that the developers need a little bit more time in order to get everything polished up and ready to go.

"Game development is a lot like football," reads the brief announcement. "It's weird, unpredictable, and we don't know the rules. And just like football, when you get the ball, sometimes you've just gotta run with it."

[Update]: Overwatch devs are working on two experimental updates, the first of which bring some Genji nerfs.

After spending a surprisingly long amount of time on the test realm, the long-requested improvements to the Career Profiles have now gone live. Under the new system you can see exactly how much time you've spent in each game mode, the various statistics have been cleaned up and organized in a more intuitive way, achievements are now sorted by category, and perhaps most importantly of all, player icons can now finally be both sorted and filtered!

Besides this rather nice quality-of-life change, the recent update has also brought in Sigma's Maestro challenge. Much like the previous challenges, this one requires you to win nine games before July 27th in order to receive some rather nifty cosmetic rewards. These include a spray, a legendary emote, as well as the genuinely excellent Maestro Sigma legendary skin!

[Update]: Guild Wars 2's third expansion - End of Dragons - has been unveiled alongside a new trailer

Two months have gone by since the last major update, and like clockwork, the Guild Wars 2 team is already getting ready to launch a brand new one! You can expect episode four of The Icebrood Saga - Jormag Rising - to arrive this July 28th.

It'll bring with it a sizable new section of the Drizzlewood Coast to explore and fight over, an equally massive new map-wide event that will have you face off against Jormag's forces, and naturally, a couple of new upgrades to help out your allies throughout the warzone. There will also be upgraded versions of two previously-released weapons (the Charged Stormcaller and the Empowered Boneskinner), a chilly new infusion to help make your character stand out, as well as a variety of other cosmetics to collect.

Vermintide 2's Big Balance Beta has brought in a brand new batch of talent changes

[Update #2]: The beta update has now been released in full, though sadly without the Huntsman rework.

[Update]: The Big Balance Beta has now also brought in a rework to the Huntsman career.

After a rather long period of no significant balance changes, Fatshark has recently (and rather suddenly) launched the appropriately titled Big Balance Beta. The new update reworked just about every single underpowered weapon, greatly expanded the amount of end-game viable builds, as well as tweaked a variety of talents.

However, while some of the talent changes have successfully created more compelling choices for players to puzzle over, they have unfortunately also replaced some fan-favorites that have been around for quite a while now. In order to correct this, as well as bring in a new batch of changes, Fatshark has now once again updated the Big Balance Beta.
