[Update]: Carrion has now slithered its way onto Steam!

If you ever wanted to be an amorphous blob of murder-tentacles, then boy do I have a game for you! The upcoming Carrion is essentially a reverse horror game where you play as everyone's worst nightmare, an ever-growing mass of tentacled hatred that just slithers from vent to vent, devouring absolutely everything in its path.

The more you eat, the stronger you'll become and the more powers you'll unlock. A simple enough system. However, there is a bit of a downside to all of this - the bigger you are, the easier it is for high-powered security turrets to gun you down the moment you creep out of the shadows! So despite playing as an absolute monstrosity, Carrion will still require a fair bit of finesse in order to make it through alive-ish.

Since I'm sure all of that sounds like complete insanity, allow me to share with you the recently posted trailer. It'll give you a pretty good idea of just what Carrion is going for, as well as what it looks like in action. Have a peek:

If that tiny bit of gameplay has piqued your curiosity, I'm also happy to say that Carrion has a free demo available. It's not exactly a massive one, but it should be more than enough to let you know whether Carrion is your kind of game or not.

You can read more about Carrion ahead of its July 23rd release date, as well as check out the free demo, over at Steam. Have fun!
