World of Warcraft hotfix has sorted out some of the major balance issues with the pre-patch

[Update]: My Shadowlands review is now live, and I'm happy to say things are looking pretty good for WoW!
In order to pave the way for the upcoming expansion, World of Warcraft has recently introduced the Shadowlands pre-patch. It brought with it a whole assortment of cosmetic customization, a massively revamped leveling system along with a level squish from 120 to 50, as well as ton of balance changes and class tweaks.
Naturally, whenever there is a large influx of new changes, chances are there are going to be some really broken things slipping through the cracks. While the Shadowlands pre-patch was not spared this fate, I do have some good news to offer as Blizzard has just released a sizable hotfix in order to sort out most of the major problems.
Rainbow Six Siege' Neon Dawn update preview shows off the laser-wielding Operator Aruni

[Update]: Rainbow Six Siege's co-op focused spin-off Extraction has now been unleashed.
I hope you're a fan of lasers, because once the next Operator Aruni makes her way into the game, Rainbow Six Siege will certainly be a lot more colorful! Aruni's laser grid gadget will be mountable over doors, walls, hatches and windows, and as you might expect, will fry or seriously wound anyone or anything foolish enough to simply smash into it face-first.
Naturally, such a power does come with a bit of a downside. One the laser grid has zapped a drone, projectile or even a player, it will need to momentarily power down in order to recharge. So even though it presents a formidable barrier, you will be able to bypass it by sacrificing some of your resources, though it certainly won't be a quiet entry!
The psychological horror game The Medium has been delayed until January 2021

[Update]: The Medium has now been unleashed onto PC and Xbox!
It's quite astonishing to see how much of an influence Cyberpunk 2077 has. CDPR recently pushed its release date back to December 10th, which then quickly resulted in a cascade of other delays as nobody wanted to release under Cyberpunk 2077's enormous shadow.
First it was Path of Exile's next big update, then the Early Access release of Everspace 2, and now even the psychological horror game The Medium is stepping back. So instead of launching on December 10th as previously announced, The Medium will be now landing onto PC and Xbox on January 28, 2021.
Diablo 3's Season 22 is set to arrive this November 20th alongside a bunch of new items

[Update]: Diablo 3's Season 27 patch has introduced an awesome array of new and ridiculously strong powers!
If you're looking for an excuse to take Diablo 3 for another spin, you'll be happy to hear the next season is just around the corner. Patch 2.6.10 will bring in a brand new batch of items and balance changes tomorrow, while Season 22 itself will follow shortly afterwards, on November 20th.
Instead of the irritating storms that marked its predecessor, Season 22 will make it so activating any Shrine or Pylon will spawn a shadow clone of your class. The clone will stick around for a full minute and will scale with your power, so I'm expecting to see absolutely ridiculous levels of destruction while it's active.
Deep Rock Galactic devs have revealed what sort of goodies are coming in early 2021

[Update]: Deep Rock Galactic Update 33 has added fancy new biomes, enemies and spruced up missions.
Much like the space Dwarves themselves, the Deep Rock Galactic devs sure are an industrious bunch. After only just releasing a massive new update that brought in fun new mission types and plenty of cosmetics, Ghost Ship Games have already returned to announce their content plans for early 2021.
As you can probably guess from that statement alone, this does mean that Update 33 will not be releasing this year as previously planned. On the positive side, there will be a fancy holiday event to keep us all occupied, as well as a "few cool surprises" along the way.
Aerial combat and exploration game The Falconeer is launching this November 10th

[Update]: Interestingly enough, a second exploration-focused game where you get to fly around with the help of a bird of prey has been released this same week - The Pathless!
If you're in the mood for soaring across the stormy skies atop a giant warbird, you might want to keep an eye on The Falconeer. As you might expect given the premise, The Falconeer is all about exploring the world, squaring off against a variety of mythical beasts in aerial dogfights, and naturally, upgrading and improving your mighty falcon with new abilities and tricks.
Since The Falconeer is one of those games where the atmosphere is half of the experience, allow me to stop babbling and instead show you one of the recent trailers. Have a gander, it'll give you a pretty good idea of what to expect from The Falconeer:

In order to prepare for the upcoming Xbox Series X launch, Ori and the Will of the Wisps devs have cooked up a whole bunch of fixes and improvements. While the changes have been designed specifically with the Xbox Series X in mind, the good news is that the PC will be able to benefit from many of them as well!
So if you've been putting off your Ori and the Will of the Wisps playthrough, this would be the perfect time to jump in. Not only has the PC update just brought in a variety of settings to help improve the visual and audio quality, but the entire game has received a brand new layer of polish, including things like bug fixes and stability improvements.
