[Update]: Kerbal Space Program 2 has now landed into Early Access, though sadly in a rather rough state.
It certainly wouldn't be 2020 if there wasn't a brand new delay to talk about every couple of days. This time around it's Kerbal Space Program 2, which despite already being delayed multiple times, has now been pushed back all the way to 2022.
"We knew we were taking on an immense technical and creative challenge when we started this project," reads the brief update." We’re creating a reliable foundation on which players and modders alike can build for another decade or more. That involves solving problems that have never been solved before, and that takes time."

[Update]: World of Warcraft hotfix has sorted out some of the major balance issues with the pre-patch.
With World of Warcraft's Shadowlands expansion launching this November 23rd, Battle for Azeroth's days are now slowly coming to an end. So if you would like to give it a try before it goes away, or simply say hello to your old characters, you'll be happy to hear that Blizzard is currently running a free weekend.
Basically, if you've previously played World of Warcraft, you can now log in and roam the world without the need for a subscription. The catch, as you might expect, is that this offer is time-limited. As such, you only have until 11:59pm PST on November 8 to play for free, after which you'll need a subscription.

If you're itching for a bit of RTS action, you might want to check out SpellForce 3's newly launched and standalone Fallen God expansion. The chunky new campaign is centered around the nomadic and highly aggressive Trolls, and it offers a whole bunch of choices that will greatly impact your characters and their abilities, all of which will eventually feed into a variety of different endings.
What all of this looks like in actual gameplay, as well as just how fast Trolls can smash things down, that you can find out through the freshly posted launch trailer. Have a little peek:
After years in development, Door Kickers 2 has now entered Steam Early Access

Much like its predecessor, Door Kickers 2 is a top-down tactics game that's all about carefully planning an assault on a heavily fortified area, only to then watch as that plan bursts into flames alongside the nearby walls. Where the sequel will differ, however, is in the number of different operatives you can use, enemies you can fight against, and naturally, doors and walls you can blast apart.
Since this is one of those games that's easier to show than to describe, allow me to share with you the recently posted launch trailer. It should clue you in quite quickly on just what Door Kickers 2 brings to the table. Have a gander:
Horizon Zero Dawn PC Update 1.07 has fixed anisotropic filtering and shader optimization

[Update]: Horizon Zero Dawn's newest update has brought in even more crash fixes and optimizations.
When Horizon Zero Dawn arrived onto PC back in August, it was a bit of a mess. Crashes were frequent and the performance was incredibly spotty, which combined with the and the plethora of quality of life problems, made playing Horizon Zero Dawn in the first few weeks a bit of a nightmare.
Thankfully, Guerrilla Games quickly set out to patch the PC version, and have over the course of a few months managed to correct pretty much all of the gamebreaking issues. The only problems that remain now are fairly minor in the grand scheme of things, but even so, I'm happy to say Update 1.07 has now arrived to correct a few more of them.
World of Warcraft will soon start issuing bans for multiboxing and automated gameplay

[Update]: Blizzard has now adopted a much, much harsher stance towards multiboxing.
For as long as I've been playing World of Warcraft, Blizzard has followed one steadfast rule when it comes to gameplay modification: one click equals one action. The reason, as you might imagine, is to prevent automation and actually make people play the game in a way that's both fun and fair for everyone involved.
However, despite this being a long-standing rule, Blizzard has always turned a blind eye towards multiboxing - the process of mirroring keystrokes from one account to another in order to control an entire army of characters that can all move and act in perfect unison. That is, until today.

[Update #2]: Apex Legends is bringing in massive and positive changes to the controversial Battle Pass.
[Update]: Apex Legends has now landed onto Steam alongside the massive Season 7 update, though not without major problems.
As far as the sheer amount of content goes, Apex Legends' upcoming Season 7 update is set to be one of the biggest the game has ever seen. You can expect to see the floating city of Olympus as a brand new map to mess up, a new gravity-bending legend by the name of Horizon, as well as the very first and squad-based transport vehicle - the Trident.
Season 7 will also bring with it the introduction of a guild/club system, an assortment of balance changes, a new battle pass filled with cosmetics, and naturally, a fresh new ranked season to participate in. Long story short, it really is going to be a rather chunky update!
