Ever since the recent The Hunter & The Beast DLC, Total War: Warhammer 2's multiplayer campaign mode has unfortunately been broken for quite a few people. For whatever reason, and regardless of which mods were active, the campaign simply couldn't be loaded from a save file. Not exactly ideal, especially when the problem could also manifest itself in singleplayer campaigns as well!

Thankfully, the latest update has now finally corrected this issue and you can now resume playing your multiplayer campaigns as if nothing happened. Similarly, the soft lock that occurred when Gotrek & Felix appeared without you owning the corresponding DLC has now also been fixed, so you should be able to finish your Empire campaign without any sort of interruption.

In terms of multiplayer balance, there are two things worthy of mention. The first is that the biggest of boys, the Dread Saurians, have now received buffs to both their mass and melee targeting. This should make them a lot more fearsome in battle, and a lot less likely to end up as a glorified pincushion. Speaking of which, the Empire's Markus Wulfhart has received some devastating nerfs across the board, all aimed at making him more of a monster hunter and less of an all-rounder.

You can find all of the details, as well as the full patch notes, over at the official website. If you're just interested in what's happening with Markus Wulfhart and his plethora of nerfs, however, Creative Assembly has also released a brief explanation on Reddit.

Have fun, and make sure to grab the Gotrek & Felix DLC now that it's freely available for everyone!
