[Update #2]: It took a while for this announcement to arrive, but Remedy Entertainment is now officially working on Control 2!

[Update]: Remedy has announced that Control is getting a co-op focused spin-off - project Condor!

If Remedy's supernatural action-adventure Control managed to slip you by like it has many others, you might be curious to hear that it's now entirely free to grab! Simply head on over to the Epic Games Store, snag yourself a copy, and you'll be good to go after a bit of a lengthy download.

As always, the catch is that the giveaway is time-limited. Just make sure to add Control to your account before June 17th and you'll be able to play it whenever you want and for however long you want. It's a simple process, so I'd recommend getting it done while it's still on your mind.

For those of you wondering whether Control is even worth the trouble, however, I'd say the answer is yes if you enjoy sinking your teeth into a good mystery and trying to figure out just what in the world is happening around you. As for the combat, it's well polished and quite fun to mess around with, though it does get repetitive after a while. Still, I had a great deal of fun with Control, especially in the latter portions of the story once things really start going crazy. So while it's free, I'd say it's well worth taking for a spin!
