Overwatch screenshot of the Rising Storm Havana map

After spending a fair bit of time on the test servers, Overwatch's newest Escort map Havana has now finally made its way to the live servers. Much like the previous few maps and heroes, Havana will be locked away from Competitive Play for two weeks in order to give players enough time to adjust to its presence.

Speaking of which, you can get a pretty good idea of what Havana looks like, as well as where most of the fights will take place in, through the recently posted trailer down below. Have a peek, it really is a lovely map:

While it's unfortunate that the stormy version of Havana is reserved only for the Storm Rising event, I am still extremely happy with its inclusion, and not just because it means there's now a smaller chance of seeing Assault maps! Havana really is a beautiful map, and with plenty of flanking routes and pathways, it's also one that's really fun to run around on. There might be some balance issues with sniper sightlines on the final point, but overall I believe it's a solid addition to Overwatch's map roster, and one that will likely remain enjoyable for a long time!

Besides the new Havana map, this update has also brought back Numbani into the map rotation, as well as added two new Overwatch League skins: All-Star Atlantic Mercy and Pacific Lúcio. You can learn a little bit more about the new skins, as well as how to grab them, over at the Overwatch League website.

And with that said, have fun in Havana!
