[Update #2]: Minecraft: Dungeons has now landed onto both PC and consoles, and so far it seems to be pretty solid!

[Update]: The release date for Minecraft: Dungeons has been pushed back from April to May 26th on all platforms.

Minecraft: Dungeons is an upcoming action-adventure inspired by classic dungeon-crawlers. As you might expect from that alone, Minecraft: Dungeons is all about roaming across a variety of levels in search of secrets, beating down hordes of monsters to fill your pockets with more shiny loot than you could possibly know what to do with, as well as saving the world if there's time to spare after dinner.

When it comes to the levels themselves, you can get a pretty good idea of what Mojang has cooked up through the recently posted developer update. Have a peek, it's a pretty fun one:

On the other hand, if you're more interested in the actual gameplay, here's the extended gameplay demo from a couple of months ago. It should clue you in quite quickly on just what Minecraft: Dungeons has to offer.

Minecraft: Dungeons will be coming to PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch in April 2020, though no exact release date has been given just yet. You can keep track of any future updates, as well as learn more about Minecraft: Dungeons, over at the official website.
