Minecraft: Dungeons official screenshot of a laval level

[Update]: Minecraft: Dungeons has now landed onto both PC and consoles, and so far it seems to be pretty solid!

Originally, Minecraft: Dungeons was supposed to arrive at some point in April 2020 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. However, according to the newest announcement from Microsoft, the release date has now been pushed back to May 26th.

While no official reason has been given for the delay, the fact that it has only been pushed back a single month is a very good sign in my eyes. When this kind of thing happens it means that the team is pretty happy with the state of the game and is mostly just working on getting things as polished as possible. And for an action-adventure like Minecraft: Dungeons, the gameplay feel really is everything.

What the end result of all that work will be, that still remains to be seen, but until then you can get a pretty good impression of what Minecraft: Dungeons is through one of the earlier and rather lengthy previews. Have a look:
