[Update #2]: Deep Rock Galactic update has added two new mission types and a bunch of cosmetics.

[Update]: The first post-launch update has added a new boss-like enemy, three secondary objectives, and a whole bunch of bug fixes.

It's only been a short while since Deep Rock Galactic released from Steam Early Access, and already Ghost Ship Games have come out to announce their plans for the future. As you might expect given how they treated the game throughout Early Access, these plans include quite a few free updates!

This June we'll be getting Update 31 that will add three new secondary mission objectives, all in an effort to spice up the gameplay. There will also be a brand new bestiary addition that details all of the enemies and their weaknesses, as well as new shapes in the caves to make each biome more distinct.

In the third quarter of 2020 Update 32 will add an additional two mission types, once again aimed at increasing replayability and making things all the more interesting for veterans. There will also be a variety of new cosmetics, including a cosmetics DLC pack, as well as smaller quality of life updates, bug fixes and optimization.

Update 33, the final one mentioned so far, will arrive in the fourth quarter with two new biomes. There's pretty much no information about these biomes available as of right now, but you can also expect to see new enemies, new variants, and even more stuff to mess around with. Needless to say, Ghost Ship Games seems to have a pretty solid grasp on just what Deep Rock Galactic needs to thrive!

Once the updates start to go live I'll make sure to let you know, but until then you can read a little bit more about Deep Rock Galactic's future over at Steam.
