Outlast 2 was initially going to release in late 2016, but has ended up being delayed back in August in order to give the developers enough time to polish everything to a mirror sheen. And after many months of waiting the release date has now finally been revealed! According to the official Twitter account Outlast 2 will be coming to both PC and consoles on April 25th at a $30/€30 price tag for the digital version.

If this is your first time meeting with Outlast 2, or if you're just interested in what the sequel has to offer, allow me to show you two of the original gameplay trailers. The first one is a brief introduction to the setting, while the second one goes all out with an over-the-top cornfield chase. Have a look, its well worth the 10 minutes:

[Update]: Ubisoft has now announced a brand new sequel to Wildlands - Ghost Recon Breakpoint!

Ghost Recon Wildlands is Ubisoft's open-world tactical shooter where you and a couple of buddies can join forces in order to take down an extremely well funded drug cartel. If you don't feel like playing with other people, worry not as there are also AI followers available, but I'd still heavily recommend playing it with friends as its much more enjoyable that way.

In order to commemorate Ghost Recon Wildlands' full release Ubisoft has unleashed the newest and most likely final gameplay trailer. So if you're interested in a brief look at what Wildlands has to offer, here's the video:

Overwatch will soon be getting some significant Ana nerfs, as well as some great buffs to other heroes

Ana from Overwatch looking very badass

[Update]: Some of the patch notes have now been revised. You can read about the new additions over here.

Despite already being nerfed once Ana has remained one of the strongest heroes in the entire game. The combination of large burst healing, anti-healing capabilities, sleep darts shutting down ultimates, and powerful long range damage has just proven to be too much to ever say "maybe we don't need an Ana this time around".

Well, all of this is soon going to change as Blizzard has announced a new PTR update. Once it arrives it will bring with it some much needed Ana nerfs, but also Junkrat, Sombra, Winston, and Zenyatta buffs! Here's the full list:

  • Overwatch
  • Blizzard

The most recent gameplay video for The Surge showcases the story and tactical melee combat

The Surge screenshot of a one on one duel

The Surge is an upcoming sci-fi action RPG set in a dystopian, near-future version of Earth. It is being made by Deck 13, a studio you might recognize from their work on Lords of the Fallen, and much like their previous game The Surge is going to be heavily focused around tactical melee combat. In other words, expect to do a whole lot of dodging around, waiting for the enemies to expose their weakness, and then smashing their robo-brains out with a variety of sci-fi weaponry.

Since trying to explain all of this in brief is a bit difficult, you'll find the most recent preview video right below. It goes over both the general story and the combat mechanics, so if you're looking to learn more about The Surge this one's well worth watching. Have a look:

Vikings: Wolves of Midgard is an upcoming Diablo inspired hack and slash RPG

Vikings: Wolves of Midgard is an upcoming action RPG, or hack and slash if you prefer that term, modeled after the Diablo series. Much like its inspiration Wolves of Midgard features a variety of enemies to chop in half, a whole bunch of loot and abilities to mess around with, and naturally, multiple difficulty levels in order to allow you to play your character for as long as you wish.

If you're interested in a brief overview of all these features, as well as a couple of glimpses at pure gameplay, you'll find the most recent trailer right below. Before you dive in I would suggest you increase your volume slightly as the soundtrack is quite ominous, but also quite intriguing at the same time. Anyway, here's the video:

Heroes of the Storm's next hero is going to be an adorable Protoss Probe named Probius

Heroes of the Storm Probius official artwork from Blizzard

Heroes of the Storm has never shied away from silly heroes. I mean, one of the earliest heroes they added was a baby Murloc who throws around pufferfish! But even with all of that considered I must admit I was quite surprise to hear that the next hero will be an adorable little Protoss Probe by the name of Probious.

Before diving into his skills and abilities I would first suggest you check out the recently posted trailer. It doesn't feature any gameplay footage, but its a great little bit of animation and it perfectly sets the mood for Probious. Anyway, have a look:

NieR: Automata is coming to PC on March 17th, the system requirements have been revealed

By Ash

After a ridiculous amount of conflicting statements and an equally ridiculous period of complete silence it has finally been confirmed that NieR: Automata will be coming to PC and Steam on March 17th. Unlike the PlayStation 4 version which will arrive on March 7th in North America and March 10th in Europe, the PC version seems to be a simultaneous release for everyone.

Along with the release date the developers also raveled the full system requirements, and you'll be glad to hear that they are quite low by today's standards. Usually you need an i5 CPU or equivalent for minimum settings, but with NieR: Automata an i5 will carry you all the way to "recommended". But enough rambling from me, here's the list:

  • NieR: Automata
  • System Requirements
