Telltale has released the first batch of screenshots from their upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy game

After they've successfully tackled The Walking Dead, Batman, and even Borderlands, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise to hear that Telltale is creating an adventure game series based on Guardians of the Galaxy. The story details are incredibly scarce right now, but what I can tell you is that there will be a mysterious relic involved, and that there will indeed be a ruthless enemy who will do absolutely everything to get their hands on it. Its such a novel concept!
Joking aside, what Telltale did reveal today is a bunch of screenshots showcasing their interpretation of the Guardians of the Galaxy cast. And you'll also be glad to hear that the graphics have been noticeably improved from their previous game, though I must admit Rocket Raccoon's fur looks a bit... strange. You'll find the images right below, and if you wish to see a larger version all you need to do is click. Have a look:
Shadowverse is giving away 8 free card packs in celebration of 8 million downloads
- By Ash
- in News
I knew Shadowverse was popular, but its rate of growth is downright ridiculous. Back in February the developers celebrated 7 million downloads with 7 free card packs, and now a mere month later they're back at it again, this time around celebrating 8 million downloads!
As you can probably guess from the title alone, 8 million downloads means 8 free Rage of Bahamut card packs for every single player, new or old! However, instead of getting all 8 card packs at once you will need to log in five times over the course of the promotion in order to grab them all. The first login reward will give you 4 card packs, while the subsequent four will give you one pack each, as well as all of the standard daily login bonuses such as currency and classic card packs.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf Review - A tactics game worthy of the Warhammer name?
- By Ash
- in Reviews
Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf is a challenging turn-based tactics game with some card game elements thrown in for good measure. It initially released for mobile platforms only, but has recently made its way to Steam Early Access as well. And don't worry, all of the pesky microtransaction nonsense has been sheared away.
Unfortunately, much like the majority of Warhammer 40,000 games out there Space Wolf is a mixed bag that will simultaneously excite and frustrate you. So if you're wondering whether this is the type of game you might enjoy, allow me to share my thoughts on what I've seen so far and you can hopefully decide from there.

If you would like to learn more before deciding to dedicate any of your time to it, however, you will find the most recent GOG trailer down below. It doesn't feature much in terms of actual gameplay, but it should give you a good idea of what you're getting into. Have a look:
Phantom Trigger is an upcoming hardcore hack & slash with roguelike and RPG elements

- in Indie Games
Phantom Trigger is a colorful but hardcore hack & slash sprinkled with roguelike and RPG elements. In other words, it features a deep combat system that revolves around unlocking combos and upgrading weapons, roguelike-style dungeons, and apparently even a branching story with multiple endings.
If you're wondering what all of this might look like in gameplay terms you'll find the recently posted announcement trailer right below. Just do keep in mind that all of this is footage from a pre-alpha version, so chances are some of the gameplay elements will change by the time Phantom Trigger reaches release. Anyway, here's the video:

- in News
NieR: Automata has already arrived to the PlayStation 4 in the US, but for the rest of us in Europe or on the PC there is still a little bit of a wait. Europe will be getting the PlayStation 4 version on March 10th, while the PC version will have a simultaneous global release on March 17th.
In order to give everyone an idea of what Nier: Automata is even all about Square Enix has recently posted a brand new trailer going over the story, gameplay, and environments we'll get to mess around with. And don't worry about spoilers because the story content is incredibly vague and mostly meant as an appetizer. Anyway, have a look:
