[Update]: Blizzard has now released a lengthy preview of everything coming in with Patch 8.3!

Update 8.2.5 has only just arrived with the cinematic conclusion to the War Campaign, and already Blizzard has shifted the focus towards Patch 8.3 - Visions of N'Zoth. Unlike the previous update, however, Visions of N'Zoth brings with it a massive amount of new content, both in terms of story and gameplay.

As you might imagine from the name alone, Visions of N'Zoth will be largely focused around the Old Gods and their plans. Throughout the update the veil between our world and the void will slowly break apart, bringing forth numerous invasions by N'Zoth's forces. According to Blizzard, these assaults will be incorporating everything they've learned from the previous faction invasions, so hopefully they will be pretty fun to mess around with.

We'll also be able to explore Ny'alotha, the domain of the Old Gods themselves, as well as venture all across Azeroth in order to reactivate Titan facilities. Perhaps most importantly of all, we will be making a return to Pandaria and the newly restored Vale of Eternal Blossoms! There will also be a bunch of new dungeon-like content set in alternate-reality versions of Orgrimmar and Stormwind, all showing what horrors would happen if the Old Gods were allowed to succeed.

On a less depressing front, the update will also bring with it two new Allied Races: Vulpera for the Horde and Mechagnomes (the Mechagon variety) for the Alliance. Not exactly surprising if you've been following WoW-related news for the past few months, but even so, Alliance players don't seem to be all that happy with their end of the bargain. I can only hope the Mechagnomes will have some neat tricks up their robotic sleeves as the last thing WoW needs right now is an even bigger population disparity.

You can also expect to see Worgen and Goblin Heritage Armors, an auction house rework, a fancy new legendary cloak, a new Mythic+ affix, as well as a plethora of new loot to acquire. Long story short, Patch 8.3 really is looking to be absolutely massive!
