Total War: Warhammer 3 official screenshot showing the daemon prince

[Update]: Total War: Warhammer 3 devs have detailed their plans for the upcoming improvements and bug fixes.

After a ridiculous amount of teasers and previews, Total War: Warhammer 3 has now finally arrived! It brings with it a bunch of interesting new factions to mess around with, including fan-favorites like Kislev and Grand Cathay, as well as a sizable new chunk of the world to explore, a large array of improvements and quality-of-life changes, and even the ability to build your very own daemon prince!

You can get a pretty good idea of what to expect in terms of actual gameplay through one of the recent previews. Have a gander, it's quite an informative one:

As is frequently the case with new Total War games, Total War: Warhammer 3 is a remarkably fun game, though currently a little bit on the buggy side of things. So unless you're extremely eager to dive in, it might be a good idea to give Creative Assembly a couple of weeks to sort out all of the post-launch problems so you can have as smooth of an experience as possible.

On a slightly unrelated note, it's also worth mentioning that Creative Assembly is planning to port all of the content from Total War: Warhammer 1 and 2 into 3. The end result will be a gigantic campaign map that will allow you to play with literally every available faction, which needless to say, is an absolutely ridiculous amount of content. The only downside is that due to the complexity the Immortal Empires campaign will likely take a while to get here, though given how well Mortal Empires worked out in Total War: Warhammer 2, I have a feeling it'll be well worth the wait!

For now, however, you can learn more about Total War: Warhammer 3, as well as check out some of the player reviews, over at Steam. Enjoy!
