Total War: Warhammer 2 has recently received its very first full DLC - Rise of the Tomb Kings. As you might expect, the DLC has brought with it a whole bunch of new units to play with around with, new Legendary Lords with vastly different starting positions, new campaign mechanics and research options, and the list goes on.

While the arrival of the Tomb Kings has definitely stolen the spotlight these past few days, it is worth mentioning that the accompanying free update has rebalanced Bretonnia from the ground up, as well as added a brand new Skaven Legendary Lord - Tretch Craveltail! So if you've managed to completely miss his arrival, something that fits his lore quite well, you'll find a brief overview of his abilities and campaign mechanics in the developer video right below. Have a look:

Tretch might not look like much, and his abilities might seem counter-intuitive, but I highly suggest you give him a chance because he might just be the most fun Skaven Legendary Lord to mess around with. First of all, he starts off in Nagarond which means you'll be surrounded by numerous hostile factions from the very beginning, factions you can potentially play against each other and then betray for that sweet public order boost. Secondly, his ability to vanguard deploy and power up retreating units means that you can be suicidally aggressive and actually get rewarded for it. So if you're tired of the standard Skaven tactics and would like to try out a completely new combat style, Tretch Craventail is your rat-thing!

If you would like to learn more, or just add Tretch Craventail to your campaign, you should head on over to Steam. Have fun ambushing Dark Elves!
