[Update #2]: Monster Hunter: World has now arrived on PC, and so far it seems pretty darn good!

Monster Hunter: World arrived on consoles all the way back in January, while the PC version was postponed until "some point in autumn" in order to ensure it's more than just a simple port. Quite a few months have past since then, and I am very glad to say that we now finally have Monster Hunter: World's PC release date - August 9th!

All of the bonus features and PC-exclusive options have not been announced just yet, but what I can tell you is that all of the post-launch content and "special collaborations" will be coming to the PC version for free. The only catch is that they'll be arriving shortly after launch, but as long as the port itself is good I don't think many people will complain.
