Monster Hunter: World screenshot of a giant drake attack

After being delayed for quite a long time, the PC version of Monster Hunter: World has now finally arrived. So if you're up for hunting gigantic beasts with equally gigantic weapons, as well as crafting even bigger and more ridiculous armaments with all of the spikey bits you loot from around the world, you should head on over to Steam.

For those of you wondering what all of this might look like in-game, allow me to share with you the recently posted PC trailer. It's not exactly a lengthy video, but it should clue you in quite nicely regardless. Have a gander:

I've only played it for a couple of hours so far so take the following with a few grains of salt, but the PC version appears to be pretty darn good. I initially had some FPS problems, but after taking the advice from people on Steam and turning off Volumetric Rendering everything has been going quite smoothly. I'll have a full review up once I'm finally 'done', if such a thing is even possible with a Monster Hunter game, but so far I think it's safe to say that Monster Hunter: World is an excellent entry in the series.
