[Update]: The Seven Sirens has now arrived, and I'm pleased to say the reception has been overwhelmingly positive so far!
Shantae and the Seven Sirens is a Metroidvania-styled platformer inspired primarily by the original Shantae games. As you might imagine from that brief description alone, Shantae and the Seven Sirens is all about exploring a wast and interconnected world, transforming into various creatures to defeat enemies and open up new pathways, as well as dancing your way to new abilities.
Right now the first part of Shantae and the Seven Sirens is available exclusively on the iOS, though WayForward is already working on a full PC and console version. The exact release date hasn't been announced just yet, but you can expect to see it on all platforms in Spring of 2020.
While the presence of a mobile version might be slightly worrying to some of you, it is worth mentioning that Shantae and the Seven Sirens has been designed from the ground up with PC and consoles in mind. So as long as the port itself is solid, I have a feeling Shantae and the Seven Sirens will be a nice bit of fun like the rest of the series.
As a final note, I'll leave you with a short but rather beautifully animated trailer by Studio TRIGGER. Enjoy!
