Shantae and the Seven Sirens official artwork and logo

After spending about a year being exclusively available on the Apple Arcade, Shantae and the Seven Sirens has now finally made its way to both PC and consoles. As you would expect from a Shantae game, the freshly released Seven Sirens is a colorful romp through a vast and interconnected world which can be traversed by swapping between a variety of unique animal forms.

You can get a pretty good idea of what all of that looks like in action, as well as how charming Shantae and the Seven Sirens really is, through the recently posted launch trailer. Have a peek:

I haven't played it myself just yet, but from what I can tell it would appear that Shantae and the Seven Sirens is a pretty darn good Metroidvania game and a solid addition to the series. I've seen quite a few people comparing it to Pirate's Curse, one of the better Shantae games, which even on its own is an incredibly good sign. So if you're even remotely curious, Shantae and the Seven Sirens does seem to be worth a closer look.

You can learn more about it, as well as keep track of any future updates, over at the official website. Have fun!
