It was only recently that I talked about Shadow Complex and how the Xbox Live Arcade hit will be coming to PC sometime soon.

Turns out that "sometime soon" in this case means only a couple of days because Epic has surprised everyone and released Shadow Complex today and not just for the PC, but for the PS4 and Xbox One as well.

And best of all? It is completely free for the holidays. If you have an interest for some side-scrolling metroidvania styled action I'd urge you take Epic on their offer and head over to the Shadow Complex website. It is a great game that is also completely free, what more could you want.

This does make me wonder though, what is their motive with this? As of right now this is just speculation but my gut is telling me there is a Shadow Complex 2 announcement right around the corner and this freebie from Epic is here to remind us of Shadow Complex given that it launched quite a few years ago, an eternity in Internet years.
