[Update]: Days Gone has now made its way to PC without the various technical problems that plagued Horizon Zero Dawn!

Now that Horizon Zero Dawn has settled in nicely, it's the perfect time for another PlayStation exclusive to start making its way over to PC. The one chosen this time around is the 2019 survival-horror Days Gone that will have you roam across the large open world in search of precious supplies, dodge equally massive hordes of zombies, and just do whatever it takes to survive the usual apocalypse scenario.

If Days Gone sounds like it might be right up your alley, you'll be pleased to hear that Bend Studio has announced that the PC version will be launching in spring 2021. While the exact release date hasn't been given just yet, the devs did at least share the minimum and recommended PC system requirements. Here's what you'll need in order to run Days Gone:

Minimum:

OS: Windows 10 64-bits
Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K @3.3GHz or AMD FX 6300 @3.5GHz
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 (3 GB) or AMD Radeon R9 290 (4 GB)
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 70 GB available space

Recommended:

OS: Windows 10 64-bits
Processor: Intel Core i7-4770K @3.5GHz or Ryzen 5 1500X @3.5GHz
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB) or AMD Radeon RX 580 (8 GB)
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 70 GB available space

The system requirements are pretty much exactly the same as the Horizon Zero Dawn ones, so if you've managed to play that without any sort of problems, chances are Days Gone will run great on your PC as well. That said, I can only hope Days Gone will manage to avoid the insane amount of issues that plagued Horizon Zero Dawn once it first launched on PC, because I don't think I'm the mood to endure that kind of nonsense again.

Whatever the case may be, I'll make sure to let you know once Bend Studio announces a proper release date. Until then, I'll leave you with one of the trailers highlighting Days Gone's open world. Enjoy!
