[Update #2]: The Retribution update has now been fully revealed. You can learn more about it over here.

[Update #1]: Blizzard has now released a very brief story teaser. You can check it out on the official website.

Blizzard has recently announced that the next major Overwatch update will be coming on April 10th. So far we only know for certain that the Uprising PvE event will be making a return alongside a new batch of hero cosmetics, but according to the recently released Developer Update there are going to be some much more interesting things in store as well.

First and foremost, there will be a major reveal this Wednesday. Overwatch's Jeff Kaplan didn't specify what the reveal is going to be about, but he did say that it will come in video form. As such, expect either a cinematic short similar to the most recent Reinhardt one, or a brief teaser trailer showcasing the new and currently announced PvE mode.

Speaking of which, at the very end of the Developer Update Kaplan said "hope you're ready for the retribution", which combined with the recent Blackwatch related teaser gives us a little bit of a hint at what the new PvE mode is going to be about. I won't go into much speculation as there isn't enough information around to make any sort of accurate conclusion, but what I will say is that we're likely going to be witnessing events that happened one year prior to the Uprising mission, and that these will most likely revolve around the ill-fated Blackwatch team (Genji, Reaper, McCree, etc.).

On a slightly different note, Jeff Kaplan also announced that we will be getting another skin for our "favorite Shimada brother". He didn't reveal which one, but given how Genji has his Blackwatch skin from last year I think it's safe to say that Hanzo will be getting some love once more. After all, it is very fitting for him to get a new set of fancy clothes alongside the upcoming rework.

Once more information comes in I'll make sure to cover it, but until then all we can do is sit and wait for the big Wednesday reveal. Personally, I'm hoping for a new cinematic trailer, ideally one covering lore-starved heroes like D.Va, Lucio or Symmetra!
