MTG Arena artwork for Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite

[Update]: Historic Anthology 5 has now arrived, bringing with it a bunch of exciting graveyard shenanigans!

The Historic meta has barely settled from the influx of Mystical Archives cards, and already MTG Arena is preparing to add a brand new batch of fan-favorite cards! Historic Anthology 5 will be launching onto MTG Arena this May 27, and once it does it'll bring with it 25 entirely new-to-Historic cards.

These include the always popular Phyrexian Preators, Commands from Dragons of Tarkir, classic annoyances like Stifle and Relic of Progenitus, as well as a bunch of other fun stuff. You can find the full list of cards over at the MTG website.

As for the price, Historic Anthology 5 will set you back 4000 gems or 25000 gold, and will be available from May 27 until August 12. Most importantly of all, once Historic Anthology 5 launches you will be able to craft each of the cards by using appropriate Wildcards. So if you're only interested in a couple of cards and don't want the whole collection, especially if those cards happen to be commons or uncommons, I'd highly recommend going with this approach.

It's also worth mentioning that this won't be the only major MTG Arena event coming in the near future. Jumpstart packs will be making a triumphant return on June 4, while the Dungeons & Dragons themed expansion Adventures in the Forgotten Realms will be going live shortly after, on July 8.

Needless to say, it's going to be an exciting few months, especially if you're a fan of the Historic format!
