[Update]: Jill Valentine has now made her way to Resident Evil Resistance as a free and rather powerful new survivor.

Resident Evil 3 launched a short while ago, and it didn't do so alone. It arrived alongside Resident Evil Resistance - a 4v1 asymmetrical multiplayer game where a team of survivors has to escape a variety of devious traps and monsters placed by the evil mastermind.

If that kind of multiplayer action is right up your alley, you'll be glad to hear that Capcom has now released the official roadmap for Resistance outlining just what you can expect to get in the future. You might not be as glad to see it, however, given that the roadmap is currently about as barebones and mysterious as it gets. Still, Capcom did reveal who the next Survivor character will be, as well as when they'll make an appearance.

Unsurprisingly, the character in question is Resident Evil 3's protagonist Jill Valentine. The details behind her abilities are currently just as shrouded in mystery as the rest of the roadmap, but we thankfully won't have to wait for too long in order to find out what Jill has to offer given that she will be making her way to Resistance this April 17.

I'd love to tell you more, but I'm afraid that's quite literally it as far as current information goes.
