Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice screenshot of a battle against a giant enemy

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will be coming this March 22nd for both PC and consoles. Given that this is FromSoftware we're talking about, you can expect to see numerous Bloodborne and Dark Souls elements make a reappearance, things such as the "challenging but fair" difficulty and gigantic 'levels filled with secrets. That said, Sekiro will have a much greater focus on action and mobility than either of its predecessors, something that is perhaps best exemplified through the fact that we will have a grappling hook to toy around with!

So if you're wondering what Sekiro looks like, and what exactly the combat is all about, allow me to share the recently posted trailer. I can't say it's the most detailed video around, but it sure is an exciting one for a Souls fan like myself! Have a gander:

As always, I'll try to reserve my judgement for when I finally get my hands on Sekiro, but so far I have been impressed with every single trailer. I'm especially happy that FromSoftware isn't just resting on their laurels and constantly re-creating Dark Souls. They really seem like they're trying to push the envelope even further and see just how far the whole Soulsborne genre can be stretched. And honestly, I am completely on board with that idea, for as long as FromSoftware stays true to their core gameplay principles anyway.

You can learn a little bit more about Sekiro, as well as grab yourself a copy once it finally releases, by visiting the relatively fresh Steam page.
