For Honor artwork for the new pirate hero

[Update]: The Pirate has now arrived, and unsurprisingly, being able to blow your opponents away in a fighting game is quite entertaining.

While it was expected that Ubisoft would announce a brand new For Honor hero this week, I don't think anyone could've predicted it would be the Pirate! So if you're in the mood for something a little bit out of the ordinary, mark January 27th on your calendar as that's when the Pirate will be arriving as a part of the new Outlanders faction.

What the Pirate looks like, as well as what she has to offer in terms of actual gameplay, that you can find out through the freshly posted teaser. Have a peek:

The Pirate will first arrive alongside a $8 bundle that contains the hero, ornament, outfit, seven days of Champion Status, as well as three scavenger crates. If you don't care for all of the extra stuff, however, then you'll need to wait until February 10th as that's when the Pirate will become unlockable for 15,000 Steel.

It's also worth mentioning that unlike the previous four factions that mostly stuck to a single theme, the upcoming Outlanders will be a rather diverse bunch of mercenaries and adventurers. The whole idea behind the faction is for Ubisoft to be able to freely add interesting characters regardless of their affiliation, so it's pretty much anyone's guess what the next few heroes will be.

Whatever the answer to that question may be, I'll make sure to let you know once Ubisoft finally announces them. Until then, you can read a little bit more about the Pirate and the accompanying update over at the For Honor website.
