Given Fallout Shelter's massive popularity on the mobile market, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise to hear that Bethesda has decided to upscale the premise and bring it to Fallout 4 as well.

In the upcoming Vault-Tec Workshop DLC you will be able to create a massive Vault of your own and equip it with various pieces of pre-war technology, retro furniture, bizarre artwork and all of the facilities a good Vault needs to function. Naturally, as any good Overseer will tell you, all this work is to ensure you have enough voluntary subjects Vault Dwellers to run totally scientific, Vault-Tec approved experiments upon. For science!

The full details are currently unknown, but it does appear that Vault-Tec Workshop is going to be one of those "lighter" pieces of DLC. Thankfully, its price does reflect the amount of content as its currently set at a rather reasonable $5, so if you're looking to add a couple of hours to your Fallout 4 playtime, this would probably be a good place to start. You can expect to see the Vault-Tec Workshop arrive to Fallout 4 near you on July 26.

Alternatively, if you're looking for a major expansion that adds new areas, gameplay mechanics and a whole bunch of quests, I would recommend you wait for Nuka-World to finally arrive at some point in August.
