Fall Guys artwork for the free-to-play Season 1 artwork

[Update #2]: Fall Guys' Season 2: Satellite Scramble update is bringing in a variety of new levels and cosmetics.

[Update]: The day has finally come - Fall Guys has now gone free-to-play!

After a full month of events and teasers, the Fall Guys team has now finally spilled the beans! As many of you may have already guessed, the big reveal is that Fall Guys will be going free-to-play on June 21st, 2022 for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch.

The good news doesn't end there, however, as the free-to-play version will also launch with cross-play and cross-progression between the various platforms. So regardless of what you're using to play and who you're teaming up with, things should work without a hitch.

That said, there is one little catch when it comes to the PC version. Once the update arrives, the PC version of Fall Guys will be exclusively available through the Epic Games Store. Those of you that have bought the game on Steam will be able to continue playing as usual, but any new players will have to go through Epic.

Additionally, as a little thank you present to veteran players, Fall Guys will be giving everyone who plays the game before June 21st a Legacy Pack. This will include a fancy nickname and nameplate, a couple of costumes, and most importantly of all, a Season Pass for Season 1 which will launch alongside the free-to-play update.

Once the whole thing kicks off I'll make sure to let you know. Until then, you can read a little bit more about the transition to free-to-play over at the official website.

Just for good measure, I'll leave you with the brief trailer. Enjoy!
