Age of Sigmar artwork showing the Stormcast fighting Khorne

Even though it was announced two years ago, we've heard very little about Frontier Developments' upcoming Warhammer Age of Sigmar real-time strategy game since then. As such, it should come as little surprise to hear that they have now pushed its release date back to the latter part of 2023.

"This change will further improve the quality and longevity of the game, and overall make it more successful," explains the official trading update. I would love to tell you more, but I'm afraid that outside of the game being an "immersive and accessible" strategy game the details are pretty much nonexistent.

On that positive side, if you need to scratch that Warhammer itch while you wait for Frontier to finally reveal their efforts, I'm happy to say that Total War: Warhammer 3 will be launching on February 17, 2022. Creative Assembly has already done wonders with its predecessor, so odds are it's going to be spectacular!

Whatever the case may be, I'll make sure to let you know once more information on the Warhammer Age of Sigmar RTS becomes available. Until then, I'll leave you with the newest campaign preview for Total War: Warhammer 3, just to have something concrete to actually show you. Enjoy!
