Dungeons 4, a Dungeon Keeper inspired city building sim, key art showing off the evil overlord

Given how well received Dungeons 3 ended up being, it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise to hear that the team is now working on a brand new sequel. Dungeons 4 will once again task you with constructing the ultimate evil lair, raising an army of the most despicable creatures you can possibly find so you can raid the unsuspecting overworld, as well as trapping every nook and cranny in order to ensure any pesky do-gooders don't liberate the contents of your vault.

As is befitting a sequel, Dungeons 4 is aiming to be bigger, better and more dynamic than its predecessors. Expect to see a fully narrated campaign with 20 missions, support for both singleplayer and co-op multiplayer, as well as a variety of new enemies and allies to mess around with.

While no gameplay preview has been released just yet, you can get a pretty good idea of the sort of tone and atmosphere Dungeons 4 is going for through the announcement trailer below. Have a gander:

While no concrete release date has been announced, Dungeons 4 will be making its way onto PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch at some point in 2023. Once we get an actual date, I'll make sure to let you know.

Until then, you can read a little bit more about Dungeons 4 by hopping over to Steam. Enjoy!
