From everything Bethesda has shown so far Dishonored 2 is looking to be a rather lovely game... in its own shadowy, blood-splattered way. But given the increased graphical fidelity I'm sure some of you are currently wondering if your your PCs actually run it.
Well, wonder no more as Bethesda has just recently decided to reveal not only the minimum and recommended system requirements, but also all of the advanced PC settings you'll be able to fiddle with. While this has no absolutely nothing to do with the system requirements, I just want to point out that one of the settings directly relates to the quality of rat shadows... rat shadows! With that bizarre little bit of trivia now out of the way, here are all of the requirement and PC specific settings:
Minimum System Requirements:
• Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit versions); Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 or better
• 8 GB RAM; 60 GB free HDD space; NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7970 3GB or better
• Contains a single disc. Download of additional files from Steam is required to run the game.
• Requires Steam activation.
Recommended System Requirements:
• Windows 10 (64-bit versions); Intel Core i7-4770/AMD FX-8350 or better
• 16 GB RAM; 60 GB free HDD space; NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB/AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB or better

And finally, if you would like to preload Dishonored 2 in order to start your playthrough as soon as possible, you'll be able to do so on November 8 for the PC and PS4. As for the Xbox One, its preloading has already begun, so make sure to get started. But don't worry if you're on the PC or PS4, Dishonored 2 will be releasing on November 11 so you'll still have plenty of time to get it set up and ready for launch day!
