[Update #2]: Conan Exiles' huge Update 3.0 has added corrupted magic, revamped perks and brought in a Battle Pass.

[Update]: Conan Exiles has now added mounts, lances and mounted combat!

After a rather fruitful stay in Early Access, Conan Exiles has now released in full on both PC and consoles alongside a rather hefty new update. There's now a brand new action-orientated combat system, two massive and varied zones to explore, new monsters and invasions to fend off, new gods to worship and unleash upon your enemies, new dungeons to plunder, new crafting recipes, and the list goes on for a while.

You can find the full list of changes and additions over at the official website, but if you're curious about what all of this might look like in-game, allow me to share with you the recently posted and rather lengthy launch trailer. Have a gander:

I haven't had the time to try out the new version, so as always take the following with a few grains of salt, but from what I can tell it would appear that new Conan Exiles is a fairly enjoyable albeit still flawed survival game. It's buggy and the people you meet online will probably cook you rather than help you, but much like the version I played in Early Access, if you can get past those hurdles you'll find a rich and interesting world to explore. How long that world will manage to hold your attention, I'm afraid I simply don't know, but if you're a fan of survival games then Conan Exiles is probably worth at least a look.

You can learn more about it, as well as grab yourself a copy, by heading over to Steam. Have fun, and don't try and join other people for dinner... it won't go well for you!
