[Update]: Conan Exiles' Isle of Siptah expansion has added a large, demon-infested new world to explore.

If you were to look through the forums of any survival game, chances are you'd see quite a few requests for mounts or vehicles. This is partly because having an awesome-looking mount and companion is always fun, and partly because constantly jogging halfway across the world tends to get a bit tedious after a while.

As such, I'm sure many of you will be glad to hear that Conan Exiles has now finally added mounts. Naturally, since it's a survival game you will need to first tame and train a horse yourself, as well as create a saddle for it because not even half-naked barbarians are crazy enough to deal with all the chafing that would come from riding without one!

But not only can you ride your horse around and endlessly annoy your grounded friends, you can also fight your enemies from horseback. You can go with the classic bow and constantly keep your enemy at a comfortable range, pick up a random melee weapon and fight in close quarters, or if you prefer to do hit-and-run tactics, equip a lance and impale anything foolish enough to stand in front of you.

To learn more about mounts, as well as potentially grab the cosmetic DLC that has arrived alongside them, you should head on over to the official website. Have fun, and I'll leave you with the recently posted trailer showing off the mounts in all their glory.
