Cities: Skylines trade school campus building screenshot

[Update]: Cities: Skylines' Plazas & Promenades DLC will allow you to make pedestrian-friendly cities.

If you're in the mood for expanding your Cities: Skylines playthrough with even more stuff, you might be interested to hear that the latest Campus DLC has now arrived. As you would imagine from the name alone, the Campus expansion brings with it a bunch of new features relating to education and academic work, college living and recreation, as well as a variety of sports arenas to experiment with.

You can get a bit of an idea of what all of this looks like in-game, as well as check out some of the new buildings you can create, through the recently posted trailer. Have a gander:

There's really not much else to say about the Campus DLC as it fairly closely follows the formula of the previous expansions. In other words, it expands and builds upon the systems that were already present within Cities: Skylines, without ever taking things too far and forcing you to learn how to manage a million new things.

So while it does add some nifty new things for you to play around with, I won't exactly blow your mind away with all of its innovations. Whether that sort of design style is a good thing or not, that will depend entirely on how much you enjoy the whole "mess around with the world" style of simulation games.

Either way, you can learn more about the Campus expansion, as well as potentially grab it for yourself, by hopping over to Steam. Have fun!
