[Update #2]: Turbo Overkill's Version 1.0 has now arrived, and as I've detailed throughout my review, it's a ton of fun!

[Update]: If you're in a retro FPS mood, it's well worth mentioning that the Blood inspired Cultic has now landed onto Steam alongside some highly positive reviews.

As the name itself might imply, Turbo Overkill is a completely over-the-top 'boomer shooter' where your weapons can rip enemies apart and where you can move through the levels so quickly you might have trouble actually aiming at stuff. Best of all, as I've detailed in my review, the fact that you have a chainsaw-leg isn't even the best bit!

What all of this nonsense looks like in action, however, that you can find out through the recently posted Early Access trailer. It should clue you in quite quickly on just what Turbo Overkill is trying to do. Have a look:

If after watching that you're still not sure where you stand with Turbo Overkill, you might be interested to hear that there is free demo available. It's a fairly lengthy one as well, so if you're a fan of the genre and have a bit of free time, I'd highly recommend giving it a try.

You can do so, as well as learn more about Turbo Overkill itself, by sliding over to Steam.

The final thing worth mentioning is that I've also created a beginner's guide covering some of the most important concepts and tricks to help you get started. So if you're new to the whole 'boomer shooter' genre or simply need a bit of a refresher, I'd welcome you to give it a look. Enjoy!
