Street Fighter 6 teaser artwork from the trailer

[Update #2]: Street Fighter 6 will be launching onto PC and consoles on June 2, 2023 alongside 18 characters.

[Update]: Not even a month has gone by, and Capcom has already revealed another game! This time around it's not a fighting game, however, but rather Exoprimal - a team-based action game about mechs fighting dinosaurs!

As a part of a recent teaser Capcom launched a very simple countdown website. My original guess was that this would directly lead into the reveal of a brand new game, perhaps even the long-rumored Resident Evil 4 remaster, but as it turns out I was wrong on both counts!

Instead of revealing just one game, Capcom has taken the opportunity to showcase two! The first of these is the much-anticipated Street Fighter 6, while the second is the Capcom Fighting Collection that comes with a rather interesting mix of games.

While I would love to tell you more about Street Fighter 6, I'm afraid this whole thing was mostly an 'announcement of an announcement' sort of deal. As such, we're going to have to wait until Summer 2022 to learn more. For now, however, allow me to share with you the very brief teaser trailer:

As for the Capcom Fighting Collection, that one will be launching for PC and consoles on June 24, 2022 alongside numerous quality-of-life improvements, enhanced features, and even rollback netcode for all games! Speaking of which, here's the list of all ten games:

Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors
 Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge
Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire
 Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers’ Revenge
Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire
 Red Earth
 Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness
 Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix
 Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
 Hyper Street Fighter II

Once more information becomes available, and Street Fighter 6 gets a proper gameplay trailer, I'll make sure to let you know. For now, however, you can learn a bit more about the Capcom Fighting Collection and its extra features over at the official website. Enjoy!
