Battlerite artwork for the brand new Ulric hero

[Update]: Ulric has now been unleashed, and so far he seems to be pretty dang powerful!

Tomorrow's Battlerite update will bring with it a brand new melee support, a paladin-inspired champion by the name of Ulric. As you might imagine given his theme, Ulric is going to be a sturdy champion that's all about protecting his allies and disrupting those that would try and harm them.

If this sounds like the type of playstyle you'd like mess around with, you'll be glad to hear that Stunlock Studios have now detailed all of his abilities (including their damage and healing numbers), as well as all of the battlerites you'll be able to choose from. You can find the full list, as well as some information about the upcoming Patch 1.5 itself, by heading over to the official website.

On the other hand, if you're more interested in seeing what Ulric looks like in action, allow me to share with you the recent Champion Preview video. It's one of the best Stunlock Studios have showed off so far, so I'd say it's well worth a look:

Besides Ulric, the March 28th update will also bring with it an Easter themed seasonal event - Bakko's Egg Brawl. The concept is about as simple as it gets: you'll need to hunt down magical eggs hidden throughout the arena, and then throw them straight at the enemy team's face! If that alone doesn't pique your interest, it's also worth mentioning that winning 15 rounds of Bakko's Egg Brawl before April 11th will give you a Golden Rooster mount and 2 random Rare items.

You can visit Steam in order to learn a little bit more, though don't expect to find too many details before the patch actually arrives.
