After the incredible success of not only the HD remake of the original TY the Tasmanian Tiger but also its sequel TY the Tasmanian Tiger 2, Khrome Studios have now returned to give the third game in the series the same treatment. Much like its two predecessors, TY3 will be spending a couple of months in Steam Early Access in order to iron out bugs and potential issues, add new content and polish, as well as improve all of the art and textures.

If you decide to jump in right now you'll be able to play through the whole story campaign and its various mini-games, as well as check out the newly improved controls and camera movement. I'd personally recommend waiting as the developers are planning some major improvements to the gameplay based on community feedback, and as such there is no reason to burn yourself out on an objectively inferior version of the game... unless you really want to participate in the development process anyway.

As for the relase date, TY the Tasmanian Tiger 3 is expected to be feature complete near the end of 2018, though no exact date has been announced just yet. You can learn a little bit more about TY3, or just follow it's progress moving forward, by heading over to Steam.
