World of Goo official artwork and logo

Epic Games announced a while back that they would be giving away a new and interesting game every two weeks throughout all of 2019, and so far they have not disappointed. Last time around the free game was the stylish RPG Transistor, while this time around you're looking at the equally excellent physics-based puzzle game World of Goo.

Despite being over 10 years since its original launch, World of Goo has just recently received a small remaster. While it sadly didn't add any new levels, it did slightly improve the visuals and UI, added better mod support, as well as ensured that World of Goo behaves properly on modern systems and resolutions. A small update, but a fairly meaningful one.

That said, if you're not even sure what World of Goo is all about, allow me to share with you one of the trailers. It should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect. Have a peek:

You can learn more about World of Goo, as well as get yourself a free copy, by heading over to the Epic Games Store. Just don't delay for too long as the whole promotion will end on May 16th. Have fun!
