[Update]: Poly Bridge 2 has now ramped its way onto Steam.
If you're up for realizing just how poor of an architect you'd truly be, as well as just how tricky building bridges that don't spontaneously combust really is, you'll be glad to hear that the bridge-building simulator Poly Bridge 2 is nearly upon us. In fact, it's practically around the corner as it'll be releasing this May 28th!
Much like its predecessor, Poly Bridge 2 will task you with solving a wide variety of bridge-related puzzles, most revolving around trying to keep insane drivers from embedding their car directly into the bottom of the riverbed. While things are likely to start off easy, soon enough you'll be creating elaborate support structures, death-defying ramps, and when everything else fails, ramshackle bridges that are barely good enough for even one car to pass through!
You can get a bit of an idea of what this madness might look like in-game through the recently posted trailer. Have a gander:
Once you're done with the main campaign, you'll also be able to create your very own levels and share them through the Steam Workshop. The Poly Bridge 1 workshop has an impressive amount of levels to choose from across a variety of difficulty settings, so odds are Poly Bridge 2 will have a good chunk of extra content as well.
You can learn a little bit more about Poly Bridge 2 by hopping over to Steam, but if you're not sure whether the gameplay is even going to appeal to your tastes, you might want to also check out the original as it's currently on a rather deep discount. It might not have the same amount of features as Poly Bridge 2, but it's basically the same concept, so it should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect regardless.
Have fun!
